Hello everyone! My name is Thea Sophia, I am the artist and creator behind every jewelry in this website. I am an accomplished GIA GP (Gemological Institute of America Graduate Pearls). I focus on simple pearl jewelry design--mostly earrings. Every piece is a work of hand with love.
Ever since my childhood days, I have been fascinated by the uniqueness of pearls. Pearls remind me of people—no pearls are alike, they all have some degree of imperfections, yet all are beautiful. I love the different colors and shapes of pearls, and I am immensely impressed by the process of how they are cultured. The fact that a pearl is the only gem that is made from a living organism due to an irritation to me is very cool.
Over the years, I collected various pearl pieces, and on my own I learned how to identify real from fake as well as freshwater from saltwater. Due to my profound interest in pearls, I transitioned into creating simple jewelry pieces with pearls being the main gemstone.
It brings me joy that I can share to others my simple work of art. It gives me a sense of fulfilment knowing that someone out there is enjoying and wearing the jewelry that I created. It is my honor that my pieces have become a part of other people's life's journey and experience.
